Q: What are your work experiences in the field of journalism?
A: As of now I wouldn’t really say I have any work experience in the field of journalism other than what I’ve done in my classes during my time here at WVU. Most of what I do know has come from the journalism courses I have taken and simply trial and error on personal projects.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: The outdoors take up most of my spare time. I enjoy rock climbing, backpacking, skiing, hunting, fishing and just about anything else you can do outside. I take my Australian Shepard, Jesse James, on all my outdoor adventures; he loves them as much as I do. Other than that I’m a pretty big fan of movies and also play a little music when I can.

Q: What are your long term goals?
A: The only long-term goal I have at the moment would be to visit every state in the U.S. and also as many countries throughout the world as I can. A silly and pointless goal but I love to travel.

Q: What are the challenges and rewards of telling multimedia stories in West Virginia?
A: There are several challenges for me when it comes to telling multimedia stories. Each project I decide to take on always presents different challenges, but that’s what makes them so exciting for me to work on. Also, seeing the reactions and reading the comments of people that view my work is extremely rewarding, as long as it’s a good reaction or comment, which they usually are.
