Q: What are your work experiences in the field of journalism?
A: I work at U92 on the Sports staff. I broadcast women’s basketball, baseball and hockey. I also work for WVUSPORTS.COM , where I am the play by play reporter for WVU’s gymnastics’ team. I have interned for MetroNews here in Morgantown, where I covered various WVU sporting events.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: When I do have spare time, I like to sit back and watch baseball, along with going to the movies. I really enjoy films, preferably comedies and romantic comedies.

Q: What are your long term goals?
A: My long-term goals are to work in New York and eventually be a play-by-play broadcaster for a sports franchise along with hosting my own radio show. I also want to travel to all 50 states.

Q: What are the challenges and rewards of telling multimedia stories in West Virginia?
A: One of the challenges of telling multimedia stories where you have to travel is making sure your subject is ready for you. Story subjects are often unaware of how much time documentary work takes. The rewards are simply the final results. I was thrilled with our story about Adam Booth, a champion storyteller in Shepherdstown. It was a really great feeling!
